Tavo explores around his apartment building to discover if anyone else is having a buggy transition like he is. Meet quirky characters with comedic dialogue and mini tasks to come to the ultimate decision: stay as a bug or return to being human!
Use the arrow keys to move around, up to jump, down to pick up.
This game was made during Game Jam Aotearoa 2022 using Unity Playground scripts (thus disqualified) & all original artwork assets (Adobe Photoshop & Toon Boom Harmony) in 48 hours.

Install instructions
Download the Executable folder and double click the Unity_Grub2Bug application file to play on PC.
It needs everything in that zipped folder to play.
UPDATED! Now with Idles & extra story content!

really cool visual style. it’s a shame you got disqualified for the playground scripts. the character feels awful to control so it seems like those scripts screwed you over in more ways than one. hahaha. good work though!
Haha, it was probably the rigidbody 2D settings for the movement, do you have advice or a link for nicer movement settings or scripts out there?? :D
yes! you should check out this game makers toolkit video! their video on the movement in celeste is really good too.
